We Design and Develop Online Documentation

Input

You tell us about your product, ideas, and wishes. For which platform should the online documentation be produced? What tools should be used? How will the information be managed? Should more than one author be able to work on one information system at the same time? Do you need a single-source strategy? When should the project be completed? You then spend a few hours with us and introduce us to your product. You send us development specifications, existing documentation, sales and training documentation. We then use the information you have given us to make you a detailed offer. If you accept, we work out a comprehensive concept to meet your requirements.

Prototype

Experienced experts analyze your requirements and develop an online concept tailored to suit your needs. We then meet in person to present you with all alternatives, highlight important aspects, and discuss advantages and disadvantages. When you have chosen a solution, we develop a prototype based on your online concept that meets all important criteria. You examine our solution. If you have any change requests, we carry them out quickly and efficiently. This means that we can develop the best final solution.

Implementation

You have decided on a solution. We take time to familiarize ourselves extensively with your product using the material available. If possible we work with the product itself. To get to know your product properly, we either install it in our offices or we send our staff to you. We systematically refine your online concept and develop suitable templates and guidelines. Then we create the topics, write the text, set up the link structure, and produce or adapt suitable illustrations. You assist us with content-related and organizational aspects. Through close cooperation, we can soon present you with the first part of your online documentation.

Review

In accordance with internal and external quality assurance procedures, our solution is subjected to various correction phases. We provide you with an online version that you can test in your own environment, plus a printed copy, if required, on which you can indicate changes and make comments. You read our draft version and make any corrections. You should gather feedback from as many people as possible (development, training, sales, support, and marketing). It is often useful to clarify open issues at a joint review meeting. Larger projects usually require two or more review cycles.

Testing

An independent team of testers conducts systematic tests to check that all conventions have been met, that the links work, and that the result is correctly displayed on the target medium.

Completion

If you have any suggestions for changes or corrections, we make them immediately. We provide all source files and the finished online document for any given target platform. We will, of course, deal with any questions that you have about installation and maintenance immediately.
