Part-Time Project Management

A shallow organizational hierarchy, as well as collegial management and working methods, promotes a sense of independence and responsibility among employees. Project-specific management positions are allocated according to the project and are reassigned as required. Project managers are selected according to their qualifications, social skills, and willingness to devote all their energy to the task in hand. An employee's personal working hours have no bearing on this. To ensure that we are available for our customers and provide an excellent service, we assign two project managers, if necessary.

Example

An employee, who was working a 25-hour week and expecting her second child, was head of a 5-person project team. The project was scheduled from December until March. As so often happens, the project considerably overran the planned time schedule. This meant that two new collegues had to be brought in and integrated in the middle of the project. Thanks to competent and reliable project management, Comet successfully completed the project on time.
