Structured FrameMaker 2 – Continuation Course

2 days

The most important steps for configuring a FrameMaker environment with XML

FrameMaker can be adjusted to work with XML structures. To do this, an existing DTD (Document Type Definition), which defines a specific document structure, is transferred to a FrameMaker EDD (Element Definition Document) or created in a new EDD. The EDD is enriched with additional format information. A FrameMaker environment that is configured in this way guides the authors when creating their structure-based documents while working in the predefined print layout.

Configuring FrameMaker is a complex task. In this course you will learn the steps involved in configuration and where you need to make adjustments.
