Through the widespread use of English in industries such as IT, manufacturing, engineering, aviation, and pharmaceutics, technical writers whose first language is not English are increasingly expected to produce technical documentation written in English.

A good knowledge of writing practices that are especially relevant in technical documentation makes the writing process easier and improves the readability and the overall quality of documentation.

Course Aim

The aim of this workshop is to convey essential strategies for writing clear, concise, correct, consistent – in short, comprehensive English. In add-ition, it looks at the particular challenges faced by non-native speakers of English and gives tips on how to avoid making the most common mistakes.
