Terms and Conditions
| Registration |
| Written (by post, fax or e-mail) course registration is binding. Registration by telephone is accepted on condition that written confirmation is sent within three days of registration by telephone. |
Confirmation |
| When you register for a course, we will send you a confirmation of registration, an invoice, a list of hotels in Munich, and directions to our training center. |
Fees |
|
| a) | Course fees are fixed prices for each participant. Fees are payable by bank transfer that states the participant's name and invoice number before the beginning of the course. Payment without any deduction is due within 30 days of receipt of invoice. By arrangement with the course organizer and in exceptional circumstances, payment by Eurocheck or in cash can also be made on the first course day. Prices are subject to statutory German sales tax (VAT). |
| b) | Course fees include drinks and refreshments during breaks, a lunch-time meal for full-day courses, and course material. Participants will be given the course material at the course location. Travel and accommodation expenses are not included in the course fee. |
| c) | Prices for in-house courses are available on request. |
| d) | When a new catalog is published, all previous prices are no longer valid. |
Training Material |
| Course participants are given extensive course material, which is protected under the copyright of the owner. Copies and reproductions are prohibited without the express written permission of the owner. Comet Communication GmbH reserves the right to change the date and content of the course. |
Cancellations |
|
| Cancellations must be submitted in written form (by post, fax or e-mail). | |
| a) | For cancellations up to one month before the first day of the course, no fee is charged. |
| b) | For cancellations up to 10 days before the first day of the course, a fee amounting to half the full course fee is charged. |
| c) | For later cancellations or failure to attend, full payment is due. On receipt of payment, you will be sent the course material. |
| d) | If you are unable to attend a course for which you have registered, another member of your company may attend the course in your place. |
Comet Communication GmbH reserves the right to: |

| a) | Cancel courses with fewer than 3 participants at short notice. |
| b) | Cancel scheduled courses should an instructor be unable attend. Dates are only changed if absolutely necessary. If this does occur, we will inform all participants immediately. If possible, we will propose an alternative date. If the proposed date is not convenient, we will refund any payments made. Any form of further compensation will not be given. |
Other |
|
| a) | Participants are given a certificate listing the main topics covered in the course. |
| b) | Comet Communication GmbH does not accept liability for damages caused by accidents in the training center, through loss or theft, in particular of cloakroom items or valuable items, unless loss was caused by gross negligence or deliberate breach of contract by legal representatives or by agents of vicarious liability. |
| c) | Participants are liable for damages that result from illicit copying of software products. |
| d) | Changes and ammendments to the contract between the customer and Comet Communication GmbH – in particular individual agreements – only take effect when confirmed in written form. Verbal promises or agreements are not binding. |
| e) | The place of jurisdiction is Munich. |
